STP 2023 Membership Renewal Notice — Due by December 1

Dear Fellow STP Member,

On behalf of the Executive Committee of the Society of Toxicologic Pathology, I would like to extend our thanks to you for being a member. We thank all of you, because you, the members, are the pulse of the STP who earnestly volunteer your time and expertise to the many important activities that keep us a robust and innovative Society. We highly value your membership and your participation in the STP and hope that we all stay safe as we turn the page to a different yet brighter future.

This year we held our 41st STP Annual Symposium, Toxicologic Pathology of the Hematopoietic System, from June 19–23, 2022, in Austin, Texas. The Annual Symposium was shortened this year by one day and took place from Sunday through Thursday. Despite the many obstacles this year, we had almost 300 attendees from 13 countries to experience an amazing program filled with lots of wonderful presentations on new and first-rate technologies and novel research advances in studying the hematopoietic system. Although our in-person 2022 Annual Symposium is over, STP educational opportunities for virtual learning experiences still exist for this year as we continue to navigate the impact of the pandemic on our Annual Symposium format and virtualize much of the educational content shared with the membership. We look forward to coming together again in-person next year to share scientific content, socialize, and recognize and honor the achievements of our many members at the upcoming 2023 Annual Symposium in Summerlin, Nevada, June 25–28.

I would like to invite you to renew your membership in STP now. Please see the annual dues information below with instructions on how you may conveniently renew your membership online. There is a modest increase in our membership fee this year, following a multiyear period of stable membership fees. During your renewal online, we invite you to complete or update your STP profile demographic information as this information will help the STP to better identify member needs and interests as we find avenues to increase membership value through educational programs, modular courses, regional meetings and more in addition to the annual symposium. Thank you.

Notes for Student and Emeritus members
Student members:
Please submit your requisite student verification via email to STP Headquarters. If you no longer meet the student membership requirements, it's imperative that you complete the application to update your membership category here. The next deadline for quarterly review is January 1.

Emeritus members:
Any Full Member who has retired may be designated an Emeritus member by the Executive Committee at the member’s request. Application for Emeritus status will include a statement that the member is fully retired and is not engaged for profit in toxicology or toxicologic pathology, including full-time or part-time professional consultation. It is incumbent upon Emeritus members to update your membership type to Full if you resume income producing work in the fields of toxicology or toxicologic pathology, including consulting. Login here to complete the quick application.

Donations: Please also consider making a donation to an STP Fund along with your dues renewal via the donation module for “Focused on the Future 2025 – The STP Million Dollar Campaign,” the first-ever support drive bridging the past and future of STP. You may make a donation in recognition of a leader or mentor who made a difference for you; or you may celebrate the promise of tomorrow by giving toward training tox path experts. For more information, go to www.toxpath.org/donation.asp.

As part of the STP Million Dollar Campaign, your donation may be designated to the following funds:

  • Daniel Morton and Laura Dill Morton Scholarship Fund, generously supporting student/trainee education and training in toxicologic pathology via a scholarship program set up in perpetuity;
  • Journal Fund supporting journal activities including the Best Paper Awards, page budget, and publication and distribution of INHAND Supplements;
  • Student Education Fund enhancing education and training of students in toxicologic pathology;
  • Member Education Fund supporting regional meetings, webinars, and online education for all members;
  • Unrestricted Fund giving the Society flexibility to support multiple strategic goals throughout the year, including the annual meeting.

If you are unable to renew your dues online or prefer to pay by a different method, you may select the "Print invoice to fax or mail with payment" link on the online renewal page. Alternatively, contact STP Headquarters at stp@toxpath.org to request a printable invoice that can be mailed or faxed.

By renewing today, you’ll ensure that your subscription to
Toxicologic Pathology and other member benefits continue without interruption. As our journal publisher requires a 2023 mailing list at the beginning of December 2022; we will automatically renew journal subscriptions for all members who have paid 2023 STP membership dues by December 1, 2022.

Should you have any questions regarding your membership, please contact the STP Headquarters at stp@toxpath.org or
(703) 438-7508.

Thank you again,
