The ESTP Executive Committee and the organizers of the 9th ESTP International Expert Workshop are very pleased to announce the interactive webinar:
“Assessment of the Biological/Toxicological Relevance of Clinical Pathology Changes”
On Tuesday, 05th April 1:00 – 5:00 pm (CEST) and Wednesday, 06th April, 2022, 1:00 – 5:00 pm (CEST).
We will present the results of the above workshop, in which a panel of 26 clinical and anatomic toxicologic pathologists have met in 12 preparatory teleconferences since March 2021, have shared their work experience and practical examples, in order to:
- Discuss the challenges of assigning relevance (biological/toxicological) to test item-related clinical pathology findings and develop criteria for doing so; Within this context:
- Provide guidance for the establishment and use of comparators for clinical pathology analytes, as a help to distinguish minor test item-related from unrelated findings.
- The webinar will include short presentations, expert discussion sessions and Q&A sessions involving the audience.
Registration fee is 75 € for the entire webinar (two half days), including access to the audio recording of the event for a period of 4 weeks following the live webinar. We expect a high number of participants, including scientists from other relevant societies (BSTP, SFPT, STP, LASTP, ACVP, ASVCP, ECVCP/ESVCP, ACCP, LABCAL, IACP, and others). Places are limited to 300, and registration will be on a first-come-first-serve basis. Post-graduate students with financial constraints who wish to participate in order to develop their expertise in this area may contact the organizers.
