Do you need AAVSB RACE credits to maintain your veterinary licenses?

This program (20-850928) has been approved for 18 hours of continuing education credits in jurisdictions that recognize RACE approval.

With just a month remaining before the STP 40th Annual Symposium, a Virtual Event to be held June 28–30, 2021, we are delighted to announce the approval of 18 CE Credits from the American Association of Veterinary State Boards (AAVSB) Registry of Approved Continuing Education (RACE®).  The theme for the 2021 Annual Symposium is "Toxicologic Pathology Relevant to Pediatric Populations" and promises to be another dynamic meeting with excellent scientific sessions, career development and continuing education courses, and many networking opportunities provided in a user-friendly virtual platform. In addition to the outstanding scientific program, numerous special events are scheduled.  You are encouraged to visit the Annual Symposium website to review the preliminary information and complete your registration as soon as possible.

Prior to the Symposium plan to attend the Annual Business Meeting and the Career Development Workshop: Money Talks: The Toxicologic Pathologist’s Guide to Career Management and Financial Planning on Wednesday, June 23; the Awards & Recognition Ceremony and the Career Development Roundtable: Working Remotely: Benefits and Challenges on Thursday, June 24; and the interactive NTP Satellite Symposium, “Pathology Potpourri,” chaired by Dr. Susan Elmore (NIEHS/NTP) on Friday, June 25. The NTP Symposium has been approved for 3.25 continuing education credits. Our first ever Virtual Annual Symposium concludes with the STP Town Hall on Thursday, July 1.

Following the Symposium, three half-day Continuing Education (CE) Courses will be offered virtually on Fridays on July 23, August 27, and September 24. The CE Courses are: Moving a Drug into the Clinic: Using PK/PD Modeling to Assess Benefit/Risk and Guide Dosing in Early Trials (CE1), Stem Cell-Derived Therapy Nonclinical Safety Assessment (CE2), and Applications of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning in Toxicologic Pathology (CE3). Additional details for each course and registration details will be circulated in the coming weeks; however, you may also register for the upcoming courses online now if you so choose.

The STP Virtual Exhibition will provide easy access for all registrants to the latest in technology and services. Visit the STP 40th Annual Symposium website frequently for up-to-date information.

We look forward to greeting you at our first-ever Virtual Annual Symposium!
