LAST CALL: STP Mystery Slide Session Cases—Due by Feb. 28

Calling all STP members! If you have an interesting histopathology lesion induced by exposure to an environmental toxicant, we want to hear from you!

Mark your calendar and join us for the Mystery Slide Session at the 2019 STP Annual Symposium in Raleigh, NC on Tues, June 25, 2019 at 7:30 -9:00 pm. This focused session is free and open to all attendees as an educational resource to students, residents-in-training, and scientists in toxicologic pathology.

We hope you will attend and expand you knowledge on a variety of interesting lesions related to exposure to environmental toxicants - even better, submit your favorite case!  We are looking for examples of induced non-neoplastic or neoplastic diseases in any organ/tissue, with a particular emphasis on contemporary target-based toxicities. Clinical Pathology cases are also welcome.

Please contact Ron Herbert (herbert1@niehs.nih.gov) and/or Jerry Ward (veterinarypathology@gmail.com) to submit a brief description (signalment, morphologic diagnosis, pathogenesis, etc.) of your case for consideration no later than February 28, 2019. If your case is selected, you will be asked to provide the original slide or FFPE tissue block that can be sectioned and slides prepared, stained and scanned for easy online access by STP members, and also to present a short case review during the Mystery Slide Session.

We look forward to hearing from you.
