The Coronavirus (COVID-19) global pandemic continues to impact all of our lives in unexpected and challenging ways and must be viewed by all of us as a serious situation. Having closely monitored the global pandemic over the past two months and realizing that the feasibility of holding our annual meeting in June of this year is no longer a viable option, STP leadership, with input from many other stakeholders, has made the difficult but prudent decision to cancel the 2020 STP Annual Symposium that was scheduled to be held June 13-18 in Summerlin, Nevada. We cannot stress enough that this was a difficult decision for many reasons not the least of which was the efforts by our 2020 Scientific Program Planning Committee and Annual Symposium Committee to assemble an outstanding program. The STP leadership will continue to evaluate the potential impact on additional STP sponsored activities and will keep the membership regularly informed as to their status.
If you have already registered for the Annual Symposium and/or reserved your hotel room via the STP Hotel Reservation system, you will be emailed additional information and specific instructions. STP Headquarters will be contacting every registrant individually. Please return to the STP website or contact STP Headquarters for the most recent status of STP sponsored events.
